Excercise????

So WE are driving down the road and just singing to the radio. I turn around to see Wes with both his thumb and his finger of both hands in both nostrils. You may ask how but there is only one explanation. He is a Christensen. He we slightly hiding, like he was picking his nose. I have been trying to get him to stop that before it becomes a habit. So I said "Wes what are you doing?? You know we don't pick our noses" He said in reply "Mom I am not picking my nose, I am doing my 'nose exercises'!!!" We laughed so hard I could hardly contain myself.

80's Stud Muffin

Yet again another exciting story about Wes. Wes goes everywhere I go, eats everything I eat, does just about everything I do(including cleaning). This time was an exception. He had an obsession with sunglasses lately. He saw his dad wearing them and he found a pair that I had bought him a very long time ago. We were ad the hair supply store grabbing a few things. Before we got in there I got Wes out of his car seat and he grabbed the sunglasses and his dads ball cap. and ran to the front of the car wear he put on the sunglasses and the backwards ball cap and leaned up on the hood of the car like a scene for some 80's show(you know like 16 candles). Well these to girls walked by and commented on how cute he was and of course Wes has to respond. He lowers down his sunglasses and peeks over the top and does this eyebrow lifting stunt that he has done since he was a kid, up and down up and down. They started laughing, and I am sure he thought they were just flirting with him. It was pretty funny. More to come one the kid I call my son.

Shopping Adventures

Well let me just start off by saying thank you to my mom it was her idea to start this blog of the crazy day to day thing that Wes says and does. It all started last week when I took Wes to the grocery store with me. It has always been exciting to take Wes shopping but he has recently become more mischievous. He started hating to sit in the cart so I would let him run around on the isle as I shopped and it was great for him to burn of that energy. Well he has recently start to pull things off shelves sometimes they end up in the cart and sometimes not. He being quite a good little helper and actually grabbing thing that we needed. HE is so smart and knows just what we have in our pantry and we buy the same things over and over. Occasionally he will sneak something in the cart; a couple extra cans of fruit or veggies, and extra bag of cookies a pack of gum, that type of thing. Well this was a special occasion, something he had never done before. We were sitting in the produce section grabbing bananas and apple, which he loves, and I turned to realized that he had taken several apples and like a little mouse rummaging for food had taken bites out of each apple. Needless to say we ended up purchasing 4 more apples than we had planned. I could do nothing but laugh hysterically. He is just so sneaky, you can't take your eyes off him for even a second.:)

We started this blog to keep track of the funny things Wes says and does. They are a daily occurrence, that constantly keep us on our toes. We may or may not use this as black-male for when Wesley picks a beautiful bride. But this is our journal of Wes and we should have started it a loooonnnggg time ago. I hope that we can look back on these things and laugh and enjoy them together. We love you Wesley.
